About us

At Somerwall Ltd, we’re the team you want when you need the job done to the highest standards, with a team of reliable, skilled tradesmen ready to deliver. Based in Somerset and Cornwall, we cover the counties in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset, Hampshire, Bristol, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire & South of Wales, bringing quality bricklaying services wherever they’re needed.

Our Team

Here at Somerwall Ltd, we’re an invite-only company, meaning we only bring in the best of the best (except our apprentices, don’t worry, we train them up to our high standards). Every team member holds a Blue Skilled Worker CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card. Our Director, Jamie Pearce, holds a Gold CSCS card, so leadership and expertise are quite literally built into our foundations.

We take no risks when it comes to quality, which is why all our work meets the NHBC regulations. The NHBC site rating system scores jobs between 1 and 6, with 6 being the best, and we always aim for top marks. Our reputation speaks for itself, we don’t settle for anything less than excellence.

Quality and Safety

We are accredited with the SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) accreditation and working towards the SMAS (Safety Management Advisory Service) accreditation. These industry-recognised health and safety certifications prove that we don’t just talk safety, we understand it throughout. We back this up by having the right standards and qualifications to give you peace of mind. Plus, we have our own health and safety consultant on hand to make sure every project is carried out safely, efficiently and to the highest possible standard.

Training the next generation

We’re proud to train apprentices who have a drive and passion to get the job done. Not only are we shaping the next generation of skilled tradesmen, but we’re also ensuring that our apprentices get hands-on experience whilst contributing to real projects. In the last 2 years, we’ve grown 10x, and our apprenticeship academy is still going strong. Because let’s be honest, who doesn’t want to say they helped build something literally from the ground up?
